Two minors aged 3 and 4 years are recovering in hospital after being defiled by a 33-year-old man at their home in Eldume location, Baringo South constituency.

According to reports, the minors were left home by their parents who had gone to the farm when the suspect Joshua Kasitet took advantage.

Medics at Marigat sub-county hospital have said that the girls are in stable condition, but are still undergoing treatment for the physical and emotional trauma they have suffered.

Meanwhile, Kasitet is also nursing injuries in the same facility as he was lynched by members of the community.

Marigat sub-county police commandant David Kiptoo has said that the suspect will be arraigned in court once he is in stable condition.
