Speaking at St. Francis Mawego Catholic Church Parish in Karachuonyo constituency, the COTU boss accused the former DP of misusing the information he gets, something he said can make police officers lose their jobs.
Atwoli has told government officers providing intelligence reports to the Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) leader to stop, as it is not good for the county.
“Don’t give Gachagua information because he misuses that information, and he will cause people’s children in the police force, our young people, to be fired. We usually get information from the police, but we take it where it is supposed to go,” he said.
Atwoli argued that he also gets information from police but uses it for the right and intended purpose, adding that misusing confidential information in public forums endangers the lives of security officers.
“You don’t announce at a meeting, ‘Oh, I’ve been told by a certain police officer that a certain thing will happen.’ You are endangering the police officers, Gachagua. Stop that foolishness of yours,” added Atwoli.
The COTU boss, who was accompanied by KUPPET secretary general Akello Misori, also used the platform to castigate Linda Mwanachi team led by Nairobi senator Edwin Sifuna, saying they are too young to lead the country.

The unionist alleged that Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna and his team are being financed by an individual to divide the Luhya community.
He says members of the Luhya community will host the Bukhungu Three meeting in December, where they will make political declarations ahead of the 2027 election.
