During a recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Perry sat down with host Jennifer Hudson for a candid conversation that quickly turned personal.
Hudson, noting that Perry has built an entire franchise around the subject of marriage, wasted no time asking him whether he planned to tie the knot himself.
His answer was direct:
“Nope.”
Why Tyler Perry is avoiding the altar

“It’s not the marriage that bothers me, it’s the divorce,” he told Hudson.
“Everybody that I know that did well and went broke, it was because of a divorce. So I’m good just being free.”
