What Is PCOS?

PCOS is a hormonal disorder far more common than many people realise. According to the World Health Organization, the condition affects roughly 10 to 13% of women of reproductive age worldwide.

Its symptoms can include irregular menstrual cycles, difficulty conceiving, acne, excess body hair and hair thinning.

Women living with PCOS also face elevated risks of obesity, insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure.
