Popular Kenyan TikToker Hoch Muhoro is counting his blessings after walking away from a horrifying road accident on the Sagana highway late on the night of September 19, 2026.
In a TikTok video, Hoch, dressed in a t-shirt bearing a sardonic “Adulting” one-star review graphic, spoke directly to his followers about what happened.
The video is intercut with nighttime clips of his vehicle, crumpled almost beyond recognition after the impact.
“Last night I skipped death by a whisper, and honestly, I think it’s God’s way of reminding me that my purpose in this life is not yet fulfilled,” he said in the clip.
What happened on the Sagana Highway?
Hoch explained that heavy rainfall had left the road slippery, and he rear-ended a lorry at speed. He and a friend were both inside the car at the time. Somehow, both walked away from the scene.
“Honestly, in the God that we were able to walk out alive,” he said, visibly shaken but grateful.
He showed a small bruise on his head and revealed that his right side was causing him pain. A hospital visit confirmed he had sustained only muscle injuries.
He thanked the police officers who responded from Sagana, the lorry driver, whom he named as Jack and described as “an understanding guy,” and his friend Mazer, who came through for him on what he called “one hell of a night.”
Hoch also used the platform to urge his followers to slow down on wet roads. “Slippery roads can change anything in seconds,” he warned.
