The United Kingdom has released an updated list of 80 universities whose graduates may qualify for the High Potential Individual (HPI) visa.
The list covers qualifications awarded between 1 November 2025 and 31 October 2026. It includes institutions in more than 15 countries, including the United States, China, Australia and several European nations.
Kenyan graduates who studied at any of the recognised universities may be eligible to apply, provided their qualifications fall within the specified period.
The UK government last updated the list on 4 November 2025. It is available on the official government website.
What the HPI visa offers
The HPI visa allows graduates of highly ranked universities outside the UK to live and work in Britain without securing a job offer or obtaining sponsorship from an employer.
The route is intended for graduates who want to work or search for employment in the UK. Applicants must have received their qualification from one of the listed institutions during the qualifying period.

What the UK HPI visa offers
The HPI visa is designed for graduates of highly ranked universities outside the UK who wish to work or look for work in Britain.
Unlike many UK work visas, it does not require a sponsoring employer, making it particularly attractive for young professionals seeking to build careers in the UK.
Graduates whose degrees were awarded within the qualifying period by any of the listed institutions are eligible to apply.
