Kenyan forex trader Raymond Omosa, popularly known as Kenyan Prince, has fulfilled a promise that clearly meant the world to him, completing a brand-new home for the grandmother who raised him after he lost his mother at a young age.
The journey began in 2025, when Omosa first took to social media to share footage of the construction site.
Standing beside his grandmother at the partially built structure, he showed off the foundation and rising brickwork with visible pride, explaining that every brick was going up specifically for her.
His grandmother, initially reluctant to be filmed and joking about her appearance, eventually warmed up to the camera, proudly referring to Omosa as her eldest grandson before reaching out to affectionately touch his head in a moment that moved many viewers.
A more recent video has now shown the completed project in full, and it is clear Omosa held nothing back. The house is finished in grey and white, topped with a sleek modern black roof and fronted by a wide, welcoming veranda.
“Ladies and gentlemen, this is what I have been building for my grandma. It was always my dream to make it happen,” he said as he kicked off the interior tour.
Inside, the home features modern lighting and elegant finishes throughout. Omosa walked viewers through all four bedrooms, including an en-suite master bedroom and a dedicated study room. The interior had not yet been furnished at the time of filming, but the quality of the fittings spoke for itself.
His grandmother provided the comic relief of the tour. As Omosa guided viewers from room to room, she firmly told him, “Don’t touch me,” drawing laughs and endearing herself further to his online following.
The tour video drew an outpouring of admiration from Omosa’s followers, with many praising him for honouring the woman who shaped him.
