Gospel singer Loise Kim has opened up about one of the most difficult seasons of her life, breaking down in an emotional Facebook post as her son David continued receiving treatment at a hospital in Gurugram, India.
In the post shared on Wednesday, July 23, Loise quoted Psalm 37:25.
” Where King David declares he has never seen the righteous forsaken nor their children begging for bread.
She closed with a Kikuyu-language prayer, writing:
“I will continue waiting on my God so that my kids and I can be together,” a plea entrusting herself and her children to God’s care.
“We may face many other battles, but not those involving our children. This pain is too much; this is not how we were meant to end up,” she added.

Beyond her grief, Loise revealed she had grown weary of receiving troubling medical updates.
She made a bold prayer declaration that her money would not continue to be consumed by hospital bills and that her home would not be reduced to a place of sickness and sorrow.

Days after the initial post, the gospel singer returned with a more hopeful update.
She revealed that she and David had moved into a temporary apartment in India, where a doctor visits every morning to administer physiotherapy.

“Tunapona, watu wangu” meaning “We are healing, my people.”
She added that they were continuing to trust God for David’s complete recovery.
