Tanasha Donna and her son Naseeb Junior, popularly known as NJ, have touched down in Tanzania ahead of Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu’s daughter’s grand 40-day celebration this weekend.

The pair were filmed arriving at Terminal 3 of Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam, with the footage captured and shared by Wasafi TV, the media arm of Diamond’s entertainment empire.

The camera crew was clearly in high spirits as they welcomed the duo off the arrivals floor, with the vibrant African wildlife-themed mural in the background adding colour to the moment.

Diamond and Zuchu’s daughter’s big day

The 40-day celebration for Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu’s daughter is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, at Saint Laurent Garden in the Kawe area of Dar es Salaam.

The event has already been dubbed a gathering for the “Child of the Nation,” signalling just how big organisers are going with the occasion.

The festivities have pulled in family from beyond Tanzania’s borders, with Tanasha and NJ travelling in from Kenya to be part of the milestone.

NJ is Diamond’s youngest son, born to the Kenyan singer during their relationship, making his presence at his half-sister’s celebration a meaningful family moment.

Diamond’s blended family

Tanasha and Diamond’s relationship ended years ago, but the co-parenting arrangement has kept both mother and son connected to the wider Platnumz family circle.

NJ’s attendance at the celebration is a reflection of that ongoing bond, with Wasafi TV making a point of documenting their arrival as part of the build-up coverage.

The event is shaping up to be one of the more talked-about celebrity family gatherings in East Africa this year, drawing attention from fans across Kenya, Tanzania and beyond.
