A Kenyan biker who goes by the name Brayo had an unexpected roadside encounter on Tuesday, September 8, that quickly went viral for more reasons than one.
In a video shared on Facebook, Brayo is seen cruising along a road when he notices a woman joining from an intersection. She was pushing a cart from behind while a donkey pulled it forward, loaded with water jerricans.
Seated on top of the jerricans was her young child.

Brayo slowed down and waited for her to catch up before greeting her and asking about her work. The woman was unfazed, telling him the job was not as difficult as it might look. She also mentioned that the child on the cart was her second-born.
Clearly moved by what he saw, Brayo told the woman that while he had seen many people ask for help, she had genuinely inspired him.
He then offered to buy her food and handed her a KSh 1,000 note before giving her child a fist bump as he prepared to ride off.
In the caption accompanying the video, Brayo reflected on the encounter at length.
“While this type of work is often seen as something men do, seeing her out there working and doing what she can to provide for herself and her child told me a powerful story of independence and determination,” he wrote.
He added that the moment reminded him of his own mother:
“This mother reminded me that strength comes in many forms. It reminded me of my mum. I love you, mum.”
Just as the video was wrapping up on a heartwarming note, Brayo asked about the donkey.
The woman’s answer stopped everyone in their tracks: she had named it Sifuna.
Brayo burst out laughing, and so did thousands of viewers online.
