Gospel singer and entrepreneur Andre Awili has broken his silence about an extraordinary experience alongside President William Ruto during a high-profile industrial tour in Nigeria.
Writing on Saturday, 26 September, Awili said the previous day had opened his eyes to the true meaning of vision.

“Yesterday we witnessed the power of vision,” he wrote, describing the visit as one that left a lasting impression.
Awili joined Ruto and First Lady Rachel for a tour of the Dangote Refinery, the Dangote Fertilizer Plant, and the port facility that forms part of the sprawling industrial complex built by African billionaire Aliko Dangote.
The gospel artiste did not hold back in describing the sheer enormity of what he witnessed at the Dangote facility.
He noted that Ruto himself summed it up as something both daring and reckless, requiring the kind of boldness that tosses caution and fear aside entirely.
What truly caught Awili off guard, however, was what the President said next. According to him, Ruto looked at the massive complex and then casually declared:
“The Kenyan one will be bigger.”
Awili’s reaction to the moment was captured in a single stunned emoji, suggesting even he could hardly believe what he had just heard.
Awili praised Dangote directly in his post, tagging both his personal account and the Dangote Group, and described the industrialist as someone who is “liberating Africa.”
He also shared a photo showing President Ruto alongside Aliko Dangote, offering a glimpse into the high-level nature of the engagement.
