A Kenyan woman, Jepkemei Judie, has shared an emotional tribute to her baby who died in India, recalling how they travelled there with faith and hope for a successful healing journey.
In a heartbreaking post, Judie said she arrived in India believing her daughter, Amiah, would eventually recover and return home, but the journey ended in tragedy.
Landed Here With Faith
Judie said she travelled to India with great hope, believing that the medical trip would bring healing to her loved one.
The grieving mother shared photos of the day they landed, believing they would return home together with Amiah healed.
“We landed here with faith and great hope in my heart,” she wrote, reflecting on the optimism that accompanied their arrival.
She said she knew the healing journey had begun, but never imagined that they would eventually leave India under such painful circumstances.
According to Judie, Baby Amiah remained full of life and was looking forward to returning home after the trip.
Hope Turned Into Heartbreak
She recalled that the deceased was eager to reunite with her sibling, Zawadi, and share memories of the journey and stay in India.
The thought of that anticipated reunion appeared to make the loss even more painful for Judie, who now has to come to terms with returning home without her child.
In her emotional farewell, Judie described her daughter as “full of life” and remembered the excitement they had about going back home.
“Rest in peace, my love, rest in peace, my baby,” She wrote in her painful tribute.
Judie did not disclose further details about the illness or treatment that had taken them to India, nor did she explain the circumstances surrounding Amiah’s death.
