Social media personality Esther Musila has opened up about finding happiness in life’s simple moments, saying she has learned to appreciate the blessings God has given her.
Musila, who is married to gospel singer Guardian Angel, shared the reflection while expressing gratitude for the life she has built and the things that bring her joy.
“I just find myself happy with the simple things. Appreciating the blessings God gave me,” she said on Tuesday, October 6,2026..
Her message comes at a time when Musila has been reflecting on her personal journey, including her relationship with Guardian Angel and how their love story unfolded in an unexpected way.

Musila on unexpected love
On Monday, October 5, Musila shared a photo of herself with Guardian Angel and reflected on how their relationship began.
“Sometimes you fall in love with the most unexpected person at the most unexpected time,” she said.
Musila and Guardian Angel first met in March 2020 after she became interested in his song Rada. She contacted veteran radio presenter Maina Kageni to find out more about the artiste behind the song and eventually got an opportunity to meet him.
At the time, Musila said she was not looking for a husband. Her intention was to help Guardian Angel grow his music career and improve his visibility.
“When I met him, it was for us to grow his music. We needed to come up with a plan for how he needs to be out there; that was the plan. But God has his own plans,” she previously recalled.
What started as a professional meeting later developed into friendship before eventually turning into a romantic relationship.
Guardian Angel has also recalled that marriage was not what he had in mind when he first met Musila.
“When I met my wife, I wasn’t even thinking about getting a wife,” he said in a 2024 interview.

From friendship to marriage
The couple’s relationship progressed, and they eventually exchanged vows on January 4, 2022, in a private wedding attended by close friends and family.
Since then, Musila has consistently celebrated her marriage and described Guardian Angel as her best friend while expressing gratitude for the companionship they share.
In August 2026, during National Couples Day, she celebrated their journey, saying she was looking forward to taking more steps with her husband.
“As we celebrate National Couple’s Day, I want to celebrate us… Loving each step we take together, my love. Cheers to more steps in the right direction. #ilovemylife,” she wrote.
Musila’s latest message about appreciating life’s simple blessings adds another dimension to the reflections she has shared about her journey, with her story showing how happiness can be found not only in major milestones but also in everyday moments of gratitude.
For Musila, the unexpected relationship that began with a song has since grown into a marriage she continues to celebrate, alongside the simple blessings she says bring her happiness.
