US-Based Kenyan TikToker Malcom Questions America, UK’s Warning to Stock Up Amid Uncertainty

US-based Kenyan content creator Malcom has raised eyebrows online after reacting to reports that several Western governments are quietly warning their citizens to prepare for serious disruptions to daily life.

TikToker Malcom, popularly known as Machaji na Manyonyois, filmed the commentary clip on October 28, 2026, from inside his truck cab.

An on-screen text overlay in the video reads:

“Pentagon orders bases to plan for 90 days without the grid as Britain urges families to stockpile food and water.”

What did Malcom say about the warnings?

Speaking in a casual, conversational mix of Swahili and English, Malcom told his followers that something significant appears to be unfolding globally.

He noted that Britain had instructed its citizens to keep food stocked and cash available in anticipation of potential disruptions, while the US had gone further by directing all its military bases worldwide to make plans for surviving up to 90 days without the power grid.

He also mentioned that other countries, including Japan, had issued similar advisories telling residents to stock up on essentials.

The questions came quickly:

“Kwa nini, ni end of the world ama ni nini?” he asked, roughly translating to: why is this happening, is it the end of the world or what?

He said he personally planned to keep water and money close, reasoning that if first-world nations were urging their people to stay alert, something was clearly in the air.

Malcom also offered his own theory about the timing. He pointed out that US midterm elections fall in November, suggesting the flurry of preparedness messaging could be connected to the political calendar rather than an imminent catastrophe.

He then turned his attention to Kenya, wondering aloud whether the government back home had communicated anything similar to its citizens, implying that Kenyans may be left in the dark even as wealthier nations openly brief their populations.

The clip has a distinctly sceptical tone throughout, with Malcom neither panicking nor dismissing the reports, but pressing his audience to think critically about what these coordinated warnings could mean.
