A Kenyan woman has taken her shot at rapper Stevo Simple Boy in the most public way possible, posting back-to-back video appeals declaring her feelings for him.
The woman, who goes by the name Leah, shared at least two clips on social media directed squarely at the rapper, urging followers to tag him until the message reached him.
What did women tell Simple Boy?
In the first clip, she introduced herself and stated her intentions plainly.
“I am doing another video until Stevo sees me. Guys, let’s continue tagging him. I am Leah, and I am waiting to become your girlfriend. I am ready to show you love and shower you with love, only if you give me a chance,” she said.
She followed up with a second video doubling down on her feelings, this time adding more personal details to sweeten the pitch.
“This clip is for Stevo – please tag him. I am Leah, and I am single. I hope you are well. I am asking if I can be your girlfriend. You are so cute and deserve a beautiful girl.
If you give me a chance, I will treat you like a king. I am an artiste and so are you – we can do better together. If you don’t mind, I have a kid,” she said in the follow-up clip.
The rapper himself caught wind of the videos and left a comment that was short but enough to set the comment section alight.
His account, @stevosimpleboy8, simply replied with:
“Mtoto lombo lombo.”
The comment, brief as it was, sparked a wave of reactions from Kenyans online, with many questioning Leah’s motivations.
@princechaala wrote:
“She knows what brought her to town.”
@__nyambu.raa_ commented:
“Or is it me who is not working hard out here?”
@memeflix_visuals weighed in with:
“Another time for Stevo to be used as a stepping stone.”
@sylvielove79 had a warning for the rapper, writing:
“Do not clout chase with the African Dragon.”
@kevbarak42 kept it short, simply saying:
“Sharp girl.”
The public declaration comes on the back of a period of heightened attention around Simple Boy, who has been in the news following a DNA drama that kept Kenyans talking.
The rapper, known for his laid-back persona and the nickname African Dragon, has built a loyal following online, making him a prime target for those looking to gain visibility through association.
Whether Leah’s approach wins over the rapper or simply adds to his growing list of viral moments remains to be seen.
