Oga Obinna is back in dad mode. The comedian and radio host posted a cosy home video with his youngest daughter Ella, offering a peek into their father-daughter bond just one week after his very public fallout with Ella’s mother, Tallie.
The handheld video, filmed across his living room, hallway and kitchen, captures a genuinely sweet visit.
Little Ella, sporting a pink Frozen-themed bucket hat, is seen hugging and kissing her dad, showing him a smiley face she had drawn on her hand, playing with a toy, watching television and learning to pedal her small bicycle with training wheels. The on-screen caption throughout reads:
“Guess who is here❤️?”
Obinna can be heard in the clip saying: “Is mommy very nice hat you’re wearing a very beautiful hat? How are you, mommy? Yeah, how you doing? You okay? Where’s my hug? Where’s my tight hug?”
What did Tallie claim about being evicted?
The warm family moment comes after Tallie, Obinna’s fourth baby mama and mother of his fifth child Ella, went public with her grievances during a TikTok livestream hosted by Boss Khan on 23 October.
She alleged that Obinna sent her a message telling her to *”toka, chukua vitu na utoke” — essentially ordering her to pack up and leave his house.
Tallie said he followed up with two co-parenting options: either Ella stays with him and she gets the child over weekends, or she keeps Ella during the week while Obinna has access on weekends.
She opted for the second arrangement, citing Ella’s young age and the fact that she is still breastfeeding.
How Obinna responded to the eviction allegations
Obinna addressed the matter on 27 October, pushing back on Tallie’s account. He maintained that he was not even in Nairobi the night in question and only discovered that Ella had left with her mother after his house manager informed him.
He said he sent Tallie a message two days later asking her to pick whichever option worked best for their daughter.
He also opened up about the living arrangement itself, explaining that he had moved into a bigger house specifically to create a separate room for Ella and her mother, hoping to give the child a stable home environment.
He said the arrangement had even cost him a romantic relationship at the time.
“We were not living under the same roof. She was living in my house. Two different things… I just wanted Ella in an environment where she was safe,” Obinna said.
The new video suggests that whatever tensions remain between the adults, co-parenting is very much in motion. Fans flooded the comments section praising Obinna for keeping his relationship with Ella at the centre of the situation despite the breakup.
