Popular Kenyan comedian Flaqo has come out strongly to deny that he is the man behind Alma Mutheu’s pregnancy, insisting the rumours are a targeted attempt to destroy his reputation.
The denial came after widespread online chatter linked Flaqo to Alma’s pregnancy announcement. Ankali Ray reached out to him directly on Friday, October 30, to get clarity on the swirling speculation.
What did Flaqo say about Alma Mutheu?
Speaking to Ankali Ray, Flaqo was categorical that he has nothing to do with Alma’s pregnancy. He instead pointed the finger at a former girlfriend, accusing her of being the architect of the damaging claims.
“There is no smoke without fire,” he acknowledged before going on to explain what he believes is really happening behind the scenes.
“There is this lady and was recently on a podcast; she told me if she cannot have me, nobody else can,” he said, attributing the pregnancy rumours to the unnamed woman.
Flaqo went further, alleging that the ex-girlfriend, together with her circle of friends, created fake social media accounts to spread false information about him, including claims that he was unwell, apparently to keep other women away from him.
The comedian did not name the woman he was referring to, but made clear he views the pregnancy rumours as an extension of the same smear campaign.
The story drew mixed reactions from Kenyans online, with some raising questions about the situation while others kept things light.
