Ohangla musician Prince Indah has stepped forward to address swirling rumours that his colleague Effie Osano is his second wife, calling the stories completely false.
The singer sat down for a night interview with 254 News, aired on 2 November, where he was put on the spot about the claims.
Rather than getting worked up, Indah laughed off the gossip while making it clear he had no patience for it.
How the rumours started
The speculation began after photos of Prince Indah and Effie Osano performing together surfaced online, with a section of fans reading too much into their on-stage chemistry and spinning theories about a secret marriage.
It is not the first time the musician, who is known for keeping his family life tightly under wraps, has had to push back against this kind of gossip.
During the interview, Indah explained that his schedule has been relentless, packed with travel and preparations for upcoming performances, leaving him little room for the sort of relationship people are imagining.
Prince Indah draws a line on family
While the singer came across as relaxed about the rumours themselves, he was notably direct when it came to the subject of his family being targeted.
“I am easy, I forgive, but don’t cross the line with my family,” he said, calling on bloggers and online critics to respect his personal boundaries.
He wrapped up by urging fans to channel their energy into the music rather than digging into his private life.
