Renowned psychiatrist Prof. Lukoye Atwoli has given Kenyans a peek at his newly completed home, posting a striking exterior photo of the modern mansion on Facebook on Friday evening.
The Professor of Psychiatry and Dean of Aga Khan University Medical College, East Africa, kept the caption understated:
“2 years later 📅 ⏳ 👣” — a quiet nod to the end of what appears to have been a two-year build.
Inside Lukoye Atwoli’s new home
Shot at dusk, the photo captures a contemporary two-storey residence glowing under warm exterior lights.
The structure features a flat roof, sweeping floor-to-ceiling glass windows, and a grand wooden double door with stone steps leading up to the entrance.
A wide cabro-paved driveway curves alongside a neatly trimmed lawn, while a covered garage to the right shelters a white Toyota Land Cruiser.
The property sits within what appears to be a generous compound, with a peaceful rural landscape visible in the background under the evening sky.
One commenter, Jacob Onzayi, wrote “MULWANDA” beneath the post, suggesting the home is situated in Mulwanda, Vihiga County, where the Atwoli family has roots.
David Ojiambo Khasamba offered his praise with “Good amazing work Prof..,” while Robert Oduor Otieno was drawn to the vehicle parked inside, simply commenting “Nice car.”
