Two people, including a police officer, have died following a head-on collision involving a truck and a vehicle belonging to a private security company along the Emali–Loitokitok Road.
The other person killed in the crash was the driver of the security company vehicle.
A second police officer who was travelling in the vehicle sustained critical injuries and was rushed to Kilome Nursing Home in Emali for emergency medical treatment.
Further details, including the identities of the victims and what may have caused the collision, were yet to be established.
