Gospel DJ Samuel Muraya, popularly known as DJ Mo, has revealed that he and his wife, Size 8, receive calls from prominent couples seeking advice when facing problems in their marriages.
The gospel DJ said some of the couples who reach out to them are people they never expected would need their guidance. He explained that sharing their own marital struggles openly has helped other couples deal with challenges in their relationships.
DJ Mo made the revelation while discussing how being open about their marriage has helped other people. He said some callers approach them when their relationships are going through difficult moments, hoping to learn from their experiences.
“There are people who call us. Prominent people, kimeumana, hata tunashangaa huyu tuta advice aje. But anasema, whatever you guys are going through, is what we go through. Sisi huweka tu vile iko,” DJ Mo said on Thursday, November 5, 2026, while shooting his podcast with Daddy Owen.

He explained that their decision to share their experiences without hiding their struggles has resulted in testimonies from couples who have benefited from their openness. According to him, some marriages have been saved through the lessons other people have picked up from their journey.
“The testimonies zenye tumepata out of being real, zimesave marriage mob sana,” he said.
Size 8 speaks about pride in marriage
Size 8 also weighed in on the subject, supporting her husband’s remarks about being open about the challenges couples face in marriage. She said pride often prevents people from revealing the difficult parts of their lives because they want others to see them as perfect.
The singer explained that no one has a perfect life and that people should not feel pressured to present an image of perfection to the public. She added that accepting one’s imperfections is important, especially when dealing with personal struggles.

“To add on to what my husband has said. I always say, Pride is what makes people not want to show a part of their life because you want to look perfect. Hakuna mtu perfect. Jesus ndio atusave;his nakedness was seen for the world,” Size 8 said.
Her remarks came as she backed the importance of being honest about personal struggles rather than allowing pride to dictate what people choose to share. She maintained that nobody is perfect and pointed to Jesus as an example in her explanation.
DJ Mo’s revelation also showed how the couple’s decision to speak openly about their marriage has reached people beyond their immediate circle, with prominent couples among those who seek their advice when facing difficulties.
