Police in Nyamira County are probing an incident where a woman was found dead in her house.
The 38-year-old Mercy Nyamoko’s body was found in Nyamokenye village in West Mugirango,Nyamira County
Preliminary reports indicate that the deceased came in contact with a live electricity wire.
Police are working jointly with Kenya Power officials to avert such incidents in future.
Officers are searching for the owner of the building who has been identified as Richard Nyarario amid claims of illegal connection of the power line.
The body of the deceased was taken to Nyamira County Referral Hospital mortuary.
