Eddy Kenzo jetted into Kenya Wednesday night

Eddy Kenzo is among international musicians who have jetted into Kenya for a series of engagements.

Rayvanny, Arya Star, Eddy Kenzo, and Jose Chameleone (on a layover) have also excited Kenyans these past two days.

Eddy Kenzo arrived in Kenya Wednesday, March 1. He called Kenya his second home, “I’m here for business meetings and collaborations.”

Eddy Kenzo while speaking to SPM Buzz, Thursday, March 2 told them he is happy to be working with Bahati again.

“That is my bro, he is a friend someone I have known for a long time, and we are cooking something with him.”

Back in 2022, Bahati was featured in Eddy Kenzo’s festival. He made the big announcement to Ugandans writing,

“Yo Uganda, Kampala this is Bahati from Kenya, Nairobi and on this 12th November I will be live attending the Eddy Kenzo festival you know it cannot get any better than this Come out in big numbers, for the first time Bahati in Uganda,” the singer said.

Matt B and Kenzo performed, Gimme Love at the Eddy Kenzo Festival at Kololo Airstrip in Uganda to an audience of over 20,000, including Uganda’s Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja.

He indicated he would love to work with other big Kenyan artists. “Of course anyone that is good enough, it’s a big industry that has big names, I talk many and we have a lot in store.”

The Ugandan singer had only encouraging words for Kenyan and Ugandan music.

“I think working hard keeps me at the top and working smart, I don’t sleep, I dont spend most of the time in bed, I go out there.”

His great work ethic saw him nominated for the best music global performance award. The award was won by South Africa’s Wouter Kellerman, Zakes Bantwini, and Nomcebo Zikode.
