United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party has announced elaborate plans to counter the planned mass action organized by the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party on Monday, March 20, 2023.

The plan includes marching to the Karen residence of the coalition’s principal and ODM leader Raila Odinga as he leads his supporters to State House.

The party’s Secretary General Cleophas Malala said he will personally lead UDA supporters to Karen and assured the opposition leader that the government will provide him with enough security officers during the demonstrations.

Malala cautioned the opposition leader against allowing his supporters to engage in violence and destruction of property.

He was speaking at Machakos university amphitheatre hall during a UDA Machakos county delegates conference to sensitise them on the forthcoming party grassroots elections.

“Na msidanganywe eti muende maandamano… (Don’t be cheated into participating in the demos)” Malala told Machakos residents.
