One person has reportedly been shot as the Azimio La Umoja coalition protests escalated on Monday.

In a video seen, a group of young men are seen carrying the injured man.

The man is said to have been shot near Toi Market.

A trader is heard saying that the man is a mechanic, not a protester.

Kibra protestors have taken to the streets of Olympic carrying stones as they await ODM Leader Raila Odinga’s mass action.

Some carried packed stones on their heads as they go on the streets.

Many shops were closed in the area.
