Tanasha Donna Oketch is among celebrities observing the Holy month of Ramadhan.
Tanasha has been proving that she is a devout Muslim who takes her religion seriously, sharing words of wisdom to believers of the faith.
Early Friday March 31, Tanasha took to her Instagram stories to share two sentimental messages as she marks the holy month.
“Hey everybody, just a little reminder what this month is really about you know a lot of people come up t o me like oh you’re fasting,” she encouraged Muslims.
The mother of one added
“its not just a month of fasting, it’s the month in which the Koran was revealed. So it’s the month that we should try to read and understand the Koran to our best potential right?”
Additionally, she told her mass of followers to remain adamant in their faith
“its the month of giving back its the month of self restraint self control, its the month of prayer, its the time to establish a close connection with out creator its not just about fasting”
She said she tries her hardest to fulfill the beliefs and how beautiful what people are fasting for is.
“So lets try to be the best versions of ourselves possible, not only during ramadhan but after ramadhan as well. We are not perfect but lets try our best you know an have a good iftar.”
She shared another video about practicing Islam that said
“Don’t ever be ashamed of practicing your way of life, if you are undoubtedly believing, that you are a Muslim and that you are rightly guided and you feel this is the true way of life, then have no shame.”
Tanasha converted to Islam in 2020 and even chose the name Bi Aisha.
Bi Aisha took this decision while dating her baby daddy Diamond Platnumz.
The news was shared that year by Diamond’s sister, Esma Platnumz. Also former media personality Jamal Gaddafi confirmed Tanasha had converted to Islam and her Muslim name is Aisha.
When he was announcing the good news, Gaddafi shared a picture of himself, Tanasha and four other people one late evening breaking the fast.
He further asked her to accept her fasting.
“First iftar with Tanasha Mungu amuongoze na akubali saum zake na wote walio funga leo Ameen ???? Btw her name is AISHA.Let’s support her in her new journey,” Jamal posted on Instagram.
