Unknown to Akinyi things would backfire on her after he bae married someone else but not before belittling the mother of three as being of low class.
“Let me tell you Maina.., I was married to a Ugandan man, I was in the village while he was in the city.
He was a teacher in Kampala.
I started hearing rumors that he had gotten married to someone else. I am the mother of his three kids.”
When Akinyi’s husband was around he would avoid any chance at intimacy.
“When he came he would sleep in the kids’ bedroom.
He would tell me that I was not in his class and that he couldn’t get intimate with me.
I called a teacher at the school where he was teaching and she confirmed the man I knew as mine was married.”
