Garissa: Two robbery with violence suspects arrested, firearm recovered

Police in Garissa have apprehended two robbery with violence suspects who are believed to have masterminded a robbery in Daadab.

In a statement on Saturday from the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Hassan Barre Hussein alias Hassan Noor Hussein and Ali Issack Muhammud alias Ali Geographia were arrested following a tip-off to area police.

Also recovered from the suspects were an AK-47 assault rifle, two magazines with a total of 42 rounds of ammunition and a black military porch.

The duo will remain in police custody awaiting arraignment.
