Gospel artiste Willy Paul has responded to his former signee Miss P, after she came out to apologise for accusing him of s3xual assault.
In a statement, Willy Paul claimed that he had been misjudged for over two years due to the accusations, and was not sure whether to forgive the songbird or not.
There’s always light at the end of the tunnel. The truth always comes out no matter how long it takes. It’s been two years of misjudgement from the public eye, I don’t know whether to forgive or…,” he wrote.
In a recent interview, Miss P said that she made the allegations out of impulse, and was going through a tough period at the time she spoke out.
“I did the interview out of impulse. At that time I was not okay psychologically. Just after I did it (the interview) I was like “what did I just do?” It was not the best choice I made in my life,” she said.
“You know we had history. Things happened, many things that we both are not proud of but it has been two years and it’s not good to carry grudges, it’s exhausting. If you (Willy Paul) see this… I’ll try to reach out but if you see this you can also reach out before I do. I hope he gets the message,” Miss P said.
Miss P’s accusations against Willy Paul
In August 2021, Miss P, while speaking in an interview on Youtube said Willy Paul sexually assaulted her several times as soon as she started her studio sessions with him.
The artiste who termed Will Paul as narcissistic, says she was signed with Saldido record label two days after sliding in the DMs.
She later signed the five-year contract and started recording music with him in the studio.
