A Junior Secondary School teacher has been arrested and arraigned at the Kajiado Law Courts for allegedly s0d0mizing his 16-year-old nephew.
The accused; 30-year-old George Sane, was presented before Principal Magistrate Edgar Kagoni on Wednesday.
He was charged with s0d0mizing the student on diverse dates between April 2023 and December last year when the boy underwent circumcision and was placed under his care.
He pleaded not guilty and was released on a bond of Ksh.400,000.
The case will be heard on June 6, 2023.
The accused had in 2019 been charged for engaging in homosexuality with two other men. The three are said to have met on Facebook before arranging for a meeting in Kajiado where, according to police, they agreed that the teacher pay each of the two men Ksh.10,000 for the sexual act.
The teacher, however, failed to pay the agreed amount and insisted on paying half the price, prompting the two men in their early twenties to report the matter at Kajiado Police Station.
The were all arrested and arraigned for practicing homosexuality. The matter is still pending in court
