Roma manager, Jose Mourinho has given the strongest indication yet that he will stay at the Serie A club, with his gesture to fans after his side’s 1-0 win over Spezia.
Mourinho has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
The former Chelsea and Manchester United was serving a touchline ban and was replaced by Salvatore Foti for Sunday’s game against Spezia.
But Mourinho walked around the pitch at the Stadio Olimpico at full time.
During his interaction with a group of Roma supporters, Mourinho pointed to the pitch in what supporters interpreted as a sign that he will stay at the club for another season.
Roma’s win over Spezia means they finished sixth in Serie A and have qualified for the Europa League.
