Mumias East Member of Parliament, Honorable Peter Salasya, has shared words of encouragement and support to Edday Nderitu, the wife of popular musician Samidoh, following a recent post she shared on her social media page.

Edday, a mother of three, took to her Facebook page on June 25, 2023, to uplift her fans and followers with an inspiring scripture.

She shared the verse from Matthew 6:21, which reads, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Happy Sunday.”

Accompanying her post was a beautiful picture of herself donning a casual blue dress, radiating elegance and confidence.

Moved by Edday’s positive message and her graceful approach amid personal challenges, MP Peter Salasya took to the comments section to offer words of admiration and support.

“You are such a strong woman. Despite the frustrations, you have chosen silence and not chaos and drama,” wrote Honorable Peter Salasya. “That Omusikari (policeman) shall realize he is losing gold while chasing stones.”

The heartfelt message from the Mumias East MP resonated with Edday’s followers, garnering numerous likes and comments expressing solidarity and appreciation for her resilience.

Edday has hinted that she has no intentions of reconciling with her husband who is also in a relationship with nominated senator Karen Nyamu.

The revelation came in response to a comment on Facebook, where Edday engaged with a concerned fan regarding her relationship with Samidoh.

The fan had disapproved of Edday’s host Bernice advocating for Edday’s return to her husband. Edday, however, urged the fan to revisit a previous lengthy post she had made a few months ago.

“Do you remember that long post I made sometime back? Only a few understood what I meant,” Edday responded.

In the mentioned post from February, Edday had candidly expressed her reservations about raising her children in a polygamous marriage.
