Otieno, Muguna at Kenya Police
Otieno’s signing marks the second notable acquisition for Kenya Police, following the confirmation of Kenneth Muguna’s move on Friday.
Muguna, formerly of Tanzanian Premier League side Azam FC, joined Kenya Police after the conclusion of his two-year contract.
The duo of Otieno and Muguna will add to the club’s already talented midfield, which includes players such as Marvin Nabwire, Francis Kahata, and Clifton Miheso.
In the previous season, Kenya Police finished in third place with 64 points, just six points behind champions Gor Mahia.
They achieved 18 wins, 10 draws, and six losses, making them the best offensive team in the league with 55 goals scored. Additionally, their defense proved to be formidable, conceding the fewest goals in the league, with just 22 against.
The signing showcases Kenya Police’s ambition to compete at the highest level and build a strong squad capable of challenging for titles in the upcoming seasons.
