Al-Ettifaq manager, Steven Gerrard, is very eager to bring his former Liverpool team-mate, Jordan Henderson to the club.

Henderson has been offered a stunning £700,000-per-week deal to join the Saudi Arabian side, according to Mail Sport.

The Reds captain is expected to hold talks with manager Jurgen Klopp over the next 24 hours to determine what the future holds for him at the club.

However, it is understood that the prospect of linking up with Gerrard might be too tempting to turn down.

Henderson still has two years left on a £190,000-per-week contract at Anfield.

But Al Ettifaq is prepared to more than quadruple the 33-year-old’s salary.
