Former Manchester United vice-captain, Patrice Evra, has reacted to Ashley Young’s decision to join Everton.

Evra and Young were former teammates during their time together at Manchester United in the past.

Young recently completed a transfer move to Everton.

The 38-year-old last played for Aston Villa and has been a free agent since the expiration of his contract on June 30.

After completing his move this week, Evra reacted, commenting on Young’s social media post on Instagram: “My Soldier.”

Young previously made 261 appearances for Man United earlier in his career.

The full-back scored 19 goals and provided 43 assists for the Manchester club.
