Police in Ololunga, Narok County, are in pursuit of a group of armed thugs who attacked a lady at her house and stole her car, food, and other valuables.

The thugs, numbering eight, stormed the home of Beatrice Akoth, armed with pangas and machetes, before beating her up and stealing her valuables.

Among the items stolen were her Toyota car, a mobile phone, a gas cylinder, 10 bags of beans, eight bags of maize, personal documents, and assorted foodstuffs.

One of the thugs is also said to have warned the victim that they had been sent to kill her, but they decided to spare her life.

DCI officers from Narok South have confirmed the incident and are pursuing the thugs.
