Kenyan singer Brown Mauzo has taken to social media to announce the end of his relationship with socialite Vera Sidika.
The father of two took to his Insta stories and penned a series of messages, updating his fans about their mutual decision to part ways amicably.
Mauzo expressed gratitude for the moments he and Vera Sidika shared during their time together.
“I wanted to take a moment to share some personal news. After much consideration, Vera Sidika and I have decided to part ways. Our journey together has been filled with unforgettable moments, but we have reached a point where it’s best for both of us and our babies, Asia Brown and Ice Brown, to move forward separately,” he shared.
The singer went on to thank their fans for the continuous support they received throughout their relationship.
He acknowledged the significance of their encouragement and the role it played in their lives.
“We want to thank you all for your unwavering love and support throughout our relationship. Your encouragement has meant the world to us. As we embark on this new chapter, we kindly ask for your understanding and respect for our privacy during this time,” he added.
Despite the separation, Brown Mauzo expressed fondness for the memories they had created together.
“Though our paths may diverge, we will always cherish the memories we’ve created together. We both remain grateful for the lessons learned and the growth we’ve experienced. Our focus now is on healing and embracing the future with open hearts. Thank you once again for being a part of our journey,” he concluded.
The two have in the recent past been sharing cryptic messages online amid speculations that they had parted ways.
“Life is too short to mend broken hearts, buy a new one,” Vera’s stories read.

Vera, Mauzo spark breakup rumours
In April, the mother of two removed the title ‘wife’ from her Instagram bio, unfollowed Mauzo and removed his photos from her page safe for one.
In response, the husband also unfollowed her deleting photos of her and only following his two daughters.
Despite the on-air rumours, Sidika cleared the air saying that their relationship was intact and that they are legally married.
While many would say these are her usual antics to gain attention, she has been posting cryptic messages hinting at being single.
In May, the mother of two dropped more hints that she and the musician may have parted ways noting that she would never use her relationship to chase clout as it is outdated and overused.
“Break up clouts are lame, overused and retired. I have never done a break up clout in over 5 years. I always have unique ideas if I want to chase clout and y’all know it, not this. Please just stop forcing it. Not everything in life revolves around clout. I can never do a break up clout, anything else but that. Whatever happens, happens in real life,” she stated.
The socialite known for clout chasing maintained that not all breakups are necessarily caused by infidelity stating that life happens, ‘people break up and move on’.
“By the way, in case you didn’t know, not all break ups are caused by infidelity. There’s a lot of issues that contribute. Life happens, people break up and move on. Some break up and fix issues. That is what life is all about, never a smooth ride,” she added.
Vera fails to acknowledge Mauzo at an event
Early this month, while attending an Amapiano event, she failed to acknowledge Brown Mauzo who was with her.
In a video shared by Plug TV, Vera is seen with Brown Mauzo as the interviewer is trying to engage her.
“Naona umekuja na mpenzi,”
“Mpenzi, ako wapi mpenzi?” she said while giggling.
