In a tragic turn of events, the husband of a 36-year-old woman, whose lifeless body was discovered in their residence in Kamulu Area, Machakos County, is currently under investigation.
According to reports, the husband had left the house in the morning and returned to find his wife, aged 36, deceased.
He informed the police, stating, “I left her in the house and she was okay, only for me to come back and find her dead.”
Police officers who arrived at the scene upon receiving the report noted that the body showed no apparent physical injuries.

A detective from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) revealed that they are awaiting the post-mortem report to gain insights into the cause of her death before proceeding with any actions.
Suspected Matricide in Sololo, Marsabit County
Meanwhile, in Sololo, Marsabit County, authorities are on the lookout for a man who allegedly murdered his mother by slashing her throat.
The victim, identified as Ms Safo Wako, was discovered lifeless in a pool of blood in the Manyatta Dibu Dadacha area. The murder weapon, a machete, was located adjacent to the victim’s severed body.
The police have moved the victim’s body to the morgue while they continue their search for the suspected assailant.
The deceased’s 28-year-old son is currently missing, and authorities are actively pursuing him to ascertain the motive behind the heinous act and take further necessary actions.
Tragic Death in Lunga Lunga Slums
In a separate incident, police in Lunga Lunga slums, Nairobi County, are investigating the case of Mr Vincent Mberesia Anduika, 40, who was found dead on the doorstep of his residence.
