Former Chelsea and Real Madrid midfielder, Eden Hazard has admitted he is unhappy about not ending his football career in Belgium.

Last week, Hazard announced his retirement from the sport at 32.

Before then he was linked with moves to Saudi Arabia and the Major League Soccer (MLS).

But he has now told Sporza: “There were a lot of rumours about my future, but there was never anything concrete – not even from Union (Saint-Gilloise).

“It was great to see my name appear in connection with several clubs, and I have never played for a Belgian club, so it would have been a great end to my career.”
