Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino has lauded Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-min ahead of both team’s Premier League clash on Monday.

Pochettino, who coached the South Korean during his time at Tottenham, described him as a fantastic footballer and one of the best players in the Premier League.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League derby with Tottenham on Monday night, Pochettino also hoped his center-backs could stop him.

“My centre-back needs to stop him. We know him and he is a fantastic player,” Pochettino said (via BBC).

“One of the best players in the Premier League. Hope it is not going to be a good night for him.”

Son has scored eight goals and assisted once in the Premier League so far this season for Spurs.
