Former Chelsea ace, Joe Cole has suggested that defender Axel Disasi is being played in the wrong position by manager Mauricio Pochettino.

The former England international wants the former AS Monaco player to be at center-back as that is his ideal position.

Recall that Pochettino used Disasi as the right-back when he didn’t have Malo Gusto and Reece James.

However, the former Tottenham Hotspur coach benched both his right-backs and started the Disasi in the 2-0 loss to Brentford.

Speaking on TNT Sports, Cole also described the Frenchman as a good footballer.

“Disasi has played right-back at times, which doesn’t suit him,” Cole said.

“He’s a good player, at centre-half done really well.”
