One person was stabbed to death while another is nursing serious injuries at Kangundo Level IV Hospital in Machakos County after they were attacked by a boda boda rider who had earlier hit and injured their kin.

The deceased, Thomas Muli, a 56-year-old man, was in the company of one Charles Mutuku with whom they sought transport to a local police station from the boda boda rider.

The motorcycle operator is now required to write a statement on the aforementioned accident in which he reportedly injured two family members.

He is said to have gone berserk, drawing a knife before stabbing the duo. He fled the scene soon after.

A manhunt for the rider is currently underway.
