The first daughter opened up about her struggles with being bullied online and how it drove her mission to stop cyberbullying. I turned my challenge into an opportunity.” After posting pictures from the forum, Kenyans were quick to criticise Charlene’s outfit, with some noting that she should fire her designer.
Others compared Charlene’s maxi green dress to a dera, with some questioning why she did not make a different outfit choice.
A section of Kenyans, however, rushed to her defence, noting that she was decently dressed.
criticise Charlene Ruto’s dressing Here is what they had to say: @drjaameh: “Simplicity is bliss… say what you want.” @ronjeyrocks: “The goal is to be rich, not to look rich.” @koloz: “Haves do not care about class. they can access that anytime they want. As the have-nots, you have to console your situation with class this or class that. You spend a lot in outward appearance as opposed to the inner one.”
@shaazmemo: “Whoever dresses @charlruto needs to be fired… I can do better with my Home science skills.” @epicstevens: “I see nothing wrong with the outfit. Also, it’s kinda classy.” @jackndunya: “You are jealous of our down-to-earth 1st daughter of the country. She is decent.” @jeanbrendah “She was clearly raised well enough to dress in whatever makes her comfortable and not what you’d deem classy.”
