Head coach of Argentina, Lionel Scaloni has urged Lionel Messi to continue playing for “as long as he can”.

Messi is yet to officially confirm when he will hang up his boots.

The 36-year-old recently completed his first season with MLS side Inter Miami CF and is preparing for his second year in the US.

“We tell him [Messi] to play for as long as he can.

“He has proved that he doesn’t have an end. You don’t know when he will give [it] up. It’s incredible,” Scaloni told Christian Vieri in a Twitch interview.

Messi finally won the World Cup playing under Scaloni at Qatar and has now lifted every possible trophy during his illustrious career.
