Governor Nyong’o commends Ruto on his India trip

Kisumu Governor Anyang Nyong’o has expressed his gratitude to President William Ruto following their recent trip to India, alongside fellow governors from the Lake Region Economic Bloc (LREB).

In a statement on his X, the county boss credited the visit for the significant investments that LREB counties are set to benefit from.

“Great milestone. As the Chairperson of Lake Region Economic Bloc, I wish to extend my heartfelt appreciation to H.E. William Samoei Ruto following his trip to India with colleague LREB Governors led by Siaya Governor H.E. James Orengo,” Nyong’o stated

He noted that the primary focus of the visit was to enhance collaboration on crucial projects within the Lake Region, including the development of an inter-county railway and solar initiatives, along with other infrastructure projects.

Nyong’o emphasized the importance of such collaborations for the growth and development of the region.

“The visit is to further collaboration on LREB inter-county railway and solar projects and other infrastructure initiatives,” Nyong’o explained.

The governor also expressed his gratitude to Srinivasa Raju Gannavarapu, CEO of Procorp Enertech Private Limited, for showing interest in investing in LREB counties.
