Nigerian stars, Cyriel Dessers and Chuba Akpom scored to lift their respective clubs in the UEFA Europa League.

Rangers defeated Real Betis 3-2 away to secure a place in the knockout round.

It was the Gers first victory on Spanish soil.

Dessers scored and provided an assist in the thrilling victory.

The forward scored a superb solo goal for Rangers’ second goal of the game.

Rangers top Group C with 11 points from six matches.

Akpom grabbed a brace in Ajax Amsterdam’s 3-1 victory against AEK Athens of Greece.

He has now scored seven goals for Ajax after a rather difficult start to life with the Dutch giants.
