Waihiga Mwaura: Renowned BBC journalist Waihiga Mwaura secured the International Anti-Corruption Excellence Award in the category of safeguarding sports from corruption.

Presented by the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on behalf of @Rolacc and @UNODC, the award holds special significance for Mwaura, who dedicated the initial eight years of his journalistic career to investigating corruption in sports.

In expressing gratitude, Waihiga acknowledged his wife @joyceomondi, family, colleagues, and everyone who supported him on this impactful journey.

Samidoh: Mugiithi artist Samidoh was honored with the Head of State Commendation (HSC) during the Jamhuri Day celebrations, recognizing their significant contributions to the music industry.

Samidoh expressed deep gratitude for an honor he never envisioned.

The father of five reflected on the extraordinary journey life had unfolded before him, attributing each milestone to the power of dreams, hard work, and the unwavering support of loved ones and fans.

He extended his heartfelt gratitude to the Head of State, William Samoei Ruto, and His Excellency Rigathi Gachagua, EGH, for bestowing upon him the prestigious Order of the Golden Warrior (OGW).

“Their recognition of my contributions and efforts for both the government and the community is truly appreciated.

This honor is dedicated to my unwavering family, whose belief in me has been a constant source of strength.
