KCB Bank has announced to its clients an ongoing interruption in some of its services.

In an official statement on Tuesday, January 2, the lender outlined some of the services that be affected during this period.

Customers may encounter challenges while accessing the KCB App, conducting ATM and POS transactions, and experiencing delays in SMS delivery, particularly affecting iBank services.

“Dear Customer, We are experiencing challenges with some of our services. You may experience challenges accessing the following services: 1. KCB App. 2. ATM and POS transactions 3. SMS delivery affecting iBank,” the official communication from KCB read.

The company acknowledged the inconvenience faced by its clients and assured them that the situation was being addressed with the utmost urgency.

Despite the disruption, the bank has assured its clientele that alternative means of transactions are still available.

Customers can utilize the USSD (*522#) service to carry out essential banking activities.

“We are working to resolve this urgently and will update you on the progress. Thank you for your patience,” KCB stated.
