Former Liverpool player Dietmar Hamann has predicted that the team will win the Premier League title this season.

Hamann claimed that Arsenal will miss out on the Premier League title race, backing Liverpool to pip Manchester City to the trophy this term.

Liverpool are currently ahead of Pep Guardiola’s side and the Gunners in the standings.

Speaking with talkSPORT, Hamann said: “I think it is a two-horse race; I can’t see Arsenal really getting back into it.

“They had a chance last season. I think it will be a two-horse race but I do fancy Liverpool this time around.”
