Multimedia University Students Protest After One Was Attacked By A Hyena

Multimedia University students on Tuesday morning held a protest on along Magadi road.
The students made the road impassable over an incident where one of them was mauled by a hyena in Rongai.

Kelvin Mwenda, a 21-year-old student at Multimedia University was attacked by a hyena at 8 pm on Monday along Maasai Lodge road.

Stephen Romo, a resident of Olmeut village in Ongata Rongai, rushed to rescue him and equally sustained serious injuries.

The two were rushed to Wama Nursing Home Hospital where they are receiving treatment.

Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) officers responded to the incident on Monday night.
